Uranus Moons Video

About this image

A series of nine images of the Uranian moons Ariel: A, Umbriel: U, Titania:T and Oberon:O were taken between 2023 August 12 and 2023 August 23, cropped, and turned into a short movie showing the moons orbiting Uranus. Rotation periods are; A: 2.52 days, U: 4.14 days, T: 8.71 days, O: 13.46 days. By viewing the video four times and following each moon individually I found was the best way to see the progress of the moons over the observation period.
