About this image

Above average seeing worth staying up late for on a work night. No knots or storms noted, just the beautiful pastel banding of the globe. Beginning to pick up the shadow of the globe against the rings again now that we are past opposition. Surprised by the darkness of the Ring C as it cuts across the planet on the northern border of the rings; the shadow of the rings on the globe which was on the rings southern perimeter as they cross the globe is now gone compared to several weeks earlier.
