About this image

Abell 82 is a very underrated planetary nebula in Cassiopeia with a size of 2.2x1.6 arcminutes. It was discovered on photographic plates taken with the 48" Schmidt telescope at the Mount Palomar Observatory.
The first known visual observation was made on 13 September 1990 by my great friend Dana Patchick using a 17.5" F4.5 reflector.
Captured using my remote telescopes in Spain.
