About this image

Another bright aurora visible in a mostly clear sky, good ray activity at times. It faded after 20.45 UT to just a glow. Observed again at 03.20 UT and it had revived somewhat with faint ray activity. In the camera LCD pulses of light were seen rapidly climbing up from the base in the morning event.
