About this image

Another image of this comet from La Palma. It was an extremely transparent sky to the west. The elongation is now 13.6 and the comet was at an apparent elevation of 1.5 deg when this image stack was obtained.  The FoV is 0.83 by 0.89 deg approx zenith up. There is a huge background gradiant on the image which I have removed using a third-order polynomial fit. The gradient removed stack shows a star of mag 9.9 and what looks like two tails. I haven't calculated the comet's magnitude yet but there was a star of mag 5.6 about a degree below the comet which is clearly visible on the full 4x3 deg frame.
