About this image

I took this image of the planetary nebula Sh2-274 back in February of this year.  I found it a fascinating and unusual planetary nebula and so have gone back to the original data and re-processed it again.  The Optolong L-eXtreme filter is a duo-band filter with a 7nm pass for each of Ha and Oiii emission wavelengths,
