About this image
I observed this a week or two back but my chinese knockoff Celeron Minipc then bit the dust - with extreme prejudice - and took the images and 70GB from the summer - with it. Looks to me like theres changes in the nebula - especially adjacent to the 4 o'clock diffraction spike being generated by T Tauri.
Even without variability its an interesting nebula to image and worth spending a couple of hours on to smooth out the noise in the background.

Very nice image Grant. Yes there does look to be some extra/brighter nebula in the area you point out, to the SW of the 4 o'clock diffraction spike. I'm still waiting for a weather window to have a go at imaging this VN. Tonight looked promising but is now getting worse and there's another storm on the way!
