About this image

Just over 4 hours integration time on a moonless night. This narrowband image is displayed in the hubble pallette (SHO). A strong Oiii signal in the inner part of the nebula contrasts nicely with the Ha and weaker Sii in the surroundings. I am continually amazed at the number of stars identifiable in images of parts of the Milky Way. PixInsight claims to have identified >10,000 stars although some of these are not visible in the final image due to processsing.
