About this image

Poor seeing in my location as Jupiter became visible, so I decided to try imaging in the IR. The ASI462 camera has excellent sensitivity in the infra-red so is a good choice for this. At the end of the session the seeing improved somewhat, around the time Io emerged from occultation, as shown in this image. 3000 frames stacked and processed in Autostakkert!3 and Registax 6.
