Looking east. White glow of arc can be seen passing though Perseus. Having read up on this I think the white arc is a STEVE which is an atmospheric phenomenon related to an aurora. What I think is interesting is that this arc went across the sky from east to west in an unbroken line. Note also the reddish aurora to the right of the arc. This was mirrored in the west if you look at the pictures from that direction.

Ah, a STEVE (Strong Thermal Emission Velocity Enhancement). Well, that would be interesting.
