About this image

This is the best image of a sequence taken during a transit of Io. The seeing was generally Ant III-IV, but for this image it improved for a few minutes and Io can be seen quite clearly close to the shadow at 10 o'clock. The GRS is just on the limb disappearing off the disc.

2000 frames out of 5000 processed in Autostakkert!3 and Registax.
