About this image

Traveled out to Albuquerque, NM to witness the Annular Solar eclipse on October 14, 2023. The city tied in the eclipse with their annual Hot-air Balloon Festival, passing out "eclipse glasses" at the entry gates. The crowd enjoyed watching the Moon slowly cover up the Sun until at mid-eclipse we were left with this amazing symmetry of a circle of bright Sun surrounding the silhouetted Moon.
