About this image

This is a remarkable edge-on spiral with warped arms located approximately 151 million light-years away in Camelopardalis. The warping is probably due to an interaction with a dwarf galaxy UGC 3714 which is a round spiral which lies just out of the field of view. HD52762 is a magnitude 7 orange star at top right in th eimage.

Thank you for sharing this one David - it's lovely and it is now on my "to do list" when the weather improves (Fingers crossed).
