About this image

The comet last night. A little lower than I intended as I imaged T Crb and AO Her first plus a family zoom session.

The pixel size is ~1.58" a pixel. The North East and Sun directions are indicated.

Bizarre object and the curl of darker comet really does look like a shadow - even if it isn't. Will try to do a mag estimate later but my code isn't really written for bright comets like this. Its better at your average starlike comet. :)

Anyway, was a lovely night and got some stuff done... -3C by the time I went to bed. Second significant frost of the winter here.
