About this image

No cloud but seeing poor.

46.1 fps, 20 per cent of 4149 captured frames stacked in AutoStakkert 3. Grey converted, rotated and cropped in Gimp, wavelet sharpening and contrast stretching in Registax 6.

Moon 11.52 days, 92.7 % illumination. Libration in longitude +3 deg. 14', in latitude -0 deg. 12'. Mare Undarum is to the left of the image centre. The eastern limb in the image has, in anticlockwise order, Mare Smythii, Neper and Mare Marginis. Further to the east of the last is Goddard.
