About this image

Good conditions for Jupiter this evening with a weak jet-stream, but local seeing was highly variable due to heating plumes from nearby houses. These are the best two images from a series lasting about 2 hours in total. 4500 of 6000 frames stacked in Autostakkert!3 and processed in Registax. There is good cloud detail visible in the equatorial belts, both of which are very active at present.
