A starless version of 12P showing the inner (blue/green) and outer coma. Using the Small angle formula, if I've worked it out correct, the coma of 12P now equates to half the diameter of the Sun, and the inner blue coma that of the diameter of Jupiter. In 2007 Comet 17P/Holmes became the largest object in the solar system, I think this comet has a good chance of beating that!
