Mc Neil's nebula is still absent from the location marked by the lines on the image. The faint spot visible is the same as that on Grant Privett's image of 15th October.

Yes, but yours is clearer. :)

If memory serves, thats the nebula rather than V1647 Ori which illuminates it.
