About this image

Another test image on the 200RC. Deals really nicely with moon with even illumination and little vignetting. This scope as a great flat field.

An amusing fact. Mare Crisium is visible split on the lower right terminator (although note this image is inverted)

Just visible here is a relatively small crater called Picard. It is actually almost a perfect circular crater with a diameter of circa 24km and is about 2.5km deep.

In fact it was named after 17th century astronomer Jean Picard. Sadly his middle name wasnt Luke. And equally sadly he didnt have a starship.

Engage.
