A friend mentioned to me that NGC4216 had a recent supernova and as I was waiting for T CrB to rise did a quick imaging run on it. 

The two other large galaxies in the FOV are rather nice. I should perhaps have recentred things a bit but I was getting tired and a bit lazy.

Its not a patch on Damian Peach's, but I'm fairly happy. If it hadn't been for passing cloud I would have had twice the number of frames - and that would have improved it. Fairly content with it.

Beautiful pic Grant. You've encouraged me to point my remote telescope later tonight at this target, though with 200mm aperture I guess I will have less details.
