About this image

Very low to horizon meant difficult seeing and a window of less than 1 hour on target. However the narrowband filters have revealed some nice structure in this beautiful emission nebula. It is similar in nature to the Bubble Nebula but interactions with a nearby large molecular cloud are thought to have contributed to the more complex shape and curved bow-shock structure.
