There was an 8 day old Moon out there so conventional wisdom says you cannot do deep sky objects if no using narrowband filters.

In truth it just makes it a little harder and you spend more time trying to get rid of sky gradients.

NGC 2276 really is a nice target and given its Declination it doesn't matter how bad your periodic error is!
