About this image

Really frustrating weather. Lovely clear blue sky most of the afternoon but as I headed home I could see clouds building in the west. This stack was taken in bright twilight just before the line of clouds arrived. The comet shows multiple, overlaid comae from the last few outbursts and a prominent ion tail to the north. I was hoping to do an animation to show motion in the tail but the clouds sent that idea packing. The Moon will become an increasing nuisance now.
