About this image

This is the March object of interest for the Deep sky section. It was already on my Sharpless list of targets (Abell 31 aka SH2-290) so I lept at the chance to see what my F2.8 scope could do with this faint PN. I only managed 3.5 hours integration time (who knows when the next clear night will appear!) but could really do with at least twice as much, especially for the outer Ha nebulosity.
