62P/Tsuchinshan in Virgo

About this image

62P resides at the moment in Virgo, amidst many galaxies of the Virgo cluster. It is currently orbiting the sun in synchronization with Earth's orbit, resulting in a slow movement against the background of stars. This alignment presents a favourable opportunity for straightforward capture, requiring minimal processing even during prolonged exposure. The total duration of my image capture is 1 hour and 20 minutes.
