About this image

I originally collected this data in 2014 and wasn't very pleased with the resulting image; I don't think I shared it with anyone. However, I've returned to the data and reprocessed them with the techniques and tools I use today. Gosh, what a difference.

I loved that ED120 scope, but it had one flaw: the red end of the spectrum was not well corrected, resulting in red rings around star images. I guess this was acceptable when used visually but was a real irritation when used for imaging. I sold the scope in 2015. It would be fine to use with today's processing tools.
