About this image

A quick capture of comet 12P/Pons-Brooks before it set behind the neighbouring houses. I had a small window of opportunity between the sky being dark enough and the comet being at a reasonable height. I stacked the images using DeepSkyStacker and processed the result with FastStone Image Viewer and Photoshop Elements. I couldn't see the comet naked eye but it was obvious using 8x40 binoculars. I could also make out a hint of a tail.
