About this image

Has a bit of an identity crisis this one.

It is a spiral but displays both barred and non-barred morphology its classed as a SAB(s)ab spiral

Some 44mly distant it has lots of easily seen dust lanes. I observed this visually at the same time through a 200mm RC and detail came through at 200x really well

Its in the virgo cluster and is coming our way ! (Blue shifted)
