Blobbiness abounds.

Again suffering from poor focus and very bad seeing. Its been a while since I did V347Aur and, to me, the nebula seemed quite faint. Will be interesting to see what magnitude I derive for V347 Aur as a faint V347 usually means a dim nebula - as Richard Sargent found.

I hope the next clear night is better than this...

Yes looking at the latest AAVSO observations the star is at the fainter part of its variations (~15.7V). So the reflection nebula should be fainter.
