About this image

Shot of Messier 13 (M13, the Great Globular Cluster in Hercules). I went up to the North York Moors for this shot, where the skies are quite a bit darker then my garden at home. The sky was wonderfully clear but unfortunately the wind was quite strong. This meant I had to discard a lot of images due to camera shake. I got enough to create a good final result though. After reading May's issue of Sky at Night magazine, I realised I'd also captured the 'propeller' feature.
