About this image

M3 is an exceptional Globular Cluster in Canes Venatici made up of around 500,000 stars. About 1.5 hours integration with RGB filters. Use of the excellent HDRMultiscaleTransform tool in pixinsight allowed some detail in the blown out core to be recovered.
