About this image

This is the April 'Object of Interest' for the Deep Sky Section. This galaxy was discovered by William Herschel in 1784 although not recognised as such.

With the Moon a few days beyond first quarter (70%) in a clear sky, observing conditions were not ideal, but better than none at all which has been the case here 'oop North' for what seems like months! (not as far oop North as Callum though.)
