About this image

Thought I would try to catch McNeil' nebula before its lost in the evening twilight.

Sad to say, its still missing.

The image was not very deep - at only 11 minutes total exposure - but deep enough to spot any major resurgence.

Perhaps we will have better luck when it becomes visible again in the predawn skies in late August.

Good that you were able to check it's still missing. Unfortunately its been below my observatory wall for a while now.

At the time I took the picture the object was so low I was only using roughly the top third of the mirror. The rest was looking at the dome wall. :)
