About this image

This comet has moved north away from the brightest nebulosity so the tail is more prominent than it was yesterday. The frames were taken while I was asleep since there was no prospect of rain overnight here so it was safe to leave the shed rolled off. The sky transparency was very good too and the local streetlights in Chelmsford are off at that time in the morning so this gave me particularly good conditions for imaging faint comets.
