About this image

This is a cropped image, taken over 2 nights on May 4th and 7th. I'm pleased to have captured the whisps of NGC 3718 as it is pulled by its neighbour NGC 3729, both 52MLY away. I'm even more pleased to have caught a faint glimpse of PGC 35616 and its neighbours to the left, at a distance of nearly 400MLY. Galaxy Season is a great excuse to justify a larger aperture telescope to my wife!
