It is interesting that there is more of a red dominance rather than the pinks and greens seen in the north. Was that generally the case for other observations from the south or is it just at that particular time ?

Thanks for you message. Not sure as this is the first Aurora I have ever seen! But my images looks similar to what others captured and it was red/pink to the eye. These are enhanced in contrast, but I didn't alter the colours in the images. The STEVE ribbon was quite red.
