About this image

One of the most amazing events of this aurora (colour seen on the camera screen) was to watch a green aurora climb up the western sky to gradually take over the purple/pink corona which was high in the sky. The green colour then gradually faded. It seemed for a time that there was a real battle going on amongst the aurora colours!
