For some reason ;-) this globular cluster is hardly ever imaged, despite being fairly bright at 11th magnitude.

The reason should be obvious from the image shown here. It is located in a very dense star field in Sagittarius and can barely be seen amongst all the confusion.

Most of the stars in this GC are scattered all over the image shown. Quite a few lie outside the field of view.
