About this image

Another clear and transparent evening with clear skies down to my NW horizon allowed me to have another go at 13P/Olbers using my widefield, one-shot colour setup. The last image of this 20 image stack was taken with the comet only 12 deg above the NW horizon in quite bright twilight. Astrometrica estimated a sky brightness of 16.8 mag/arcsec^2. I took some new sky flats just before this observation. The new flats and careful gradient removal allowed me to detect the faint, blue, ion tail in PA 50 and the dust fan between PA30 and PA60. Total magnitude using comphot was 6.7.
