About this image

I travelled out to Tillingham last night for an all-night Perseid watch. I had several cameras including a small all-sky camera based on an ASI183MC and a Fujinon DF1.4HB-L1 lens. A lovely, clear sky though the night and very warm. Lots of meteors, a new Starlink train and, around midnight UTC, a nice aurora around the northern horizon. A really lovely night apart from the Essex mozzies which appear to be immune to Jungle Formula.

The aurora starts around 22s into the video. The lens gets a bit misted up towards the end.
