Plot from the Global Meteor Network's site showing the Perseid activity on the night 11th/12th August 2024 as viewed from our east-facing meteor camera at Nottingham Astronomical Society's Observatory, near Cotgrave, Nottinghamshire, part of the UKMON Network. There were 277 perseid detections between 20:52 on 11.8.24 and 03:20 on 12.8.24 on this camera and our north-facing camera detected 253 Perseids over the same period. The night before there were 131 and 92 detections respectively. Fingers crossed it stays clear again tonight and tomorrow.
