About this image

A popular wide field target, it contains an emission nebula and tight

open cluster. The nebula allows good rendering in the Hubble palette

as is done here. While I have imaged this before, the new hyperstar rig

promised to deliver a better result. Once again, key tools in

Pixinsight were NBcolormapper, and the Xterminator suite

(deconvolution, noise reduction and star extraction),

Taken over 2 nights between August 9th and 12th. A total of 4hrs

equally distributed cross the three filters. All unguided.
