Title

Protostar in a Dark Nebula

About this image

Upon close inspection of my photo of LDN 1165 dark nebula, I was intrigued by the faint red emission at the edge (enlarged in the inset). Then found that Hubble Space Telescope has observed this region in 2021 as part of a study of protostars likely to be forming there. Nice to capture a protostar region in amateur's photo.
