About this image

Hello all, There was a medium bright display of Aurora seen here at Tarbatness last night 20240827_28 .A well defined bright arc developed into a active display with red and green rays and bands visible. The display acivity seemed to move along from west to east, whereas most display activity move along from east to west. Images attached from the early part of the display when the moon was still close to the northern horizon after rising and an image from laster when the bands and fays were at there most prominent. Best wishes Denis Buczynski

Hi Denis,

The direction of travel is interesting. I checked on my allsky video from 20240818. The general trend is east to west but there also appeared to be an intense region moving rapidly in the opposite direction.
