61 Cygni Binary system

About this image

61 Cygni is the first star whose distance from Earth was measured, only 11.4ly. It's a visual binary with the two components revolving around each other in a period of 659 years. The pair are separated by 28 arc sec, I used only 30 sec subs to avoid overexposure.
