Perseid meteor in Capricornus

About this image

I caught this bright Perseid meteor while I was doing astrophotography on the North York Moors. I'd set up a camera to record a timelapse sequence of my 72ED telescope tracking various deep sky targets and it caught this meteor too. The Perseid left a smoke trail that was visible for about 50 seconds.
