Title

Perseid meteor going from Pisces to Pegasus

About this image

A bright Perseid from the peak on 11-12 August 2024. I was at a dark location on the North York Moors and the weather was clear for most of the night. This Perseid passed just below the Square of Pegasus and very nearly touches the star Algenib at the bottom left of the square. I saw it visually too and it was one of the best of the evening. It left a green coloured train that lasted about 6 seconds and there was also a smoke trail that my camera picked up.
