About this image

I'm pleased with this widefield shot of NGC 891 because it was an experiment using 1 minute sub-exposures (I usually shoot 3-minute). One can only wonder what the galaxy would look like front-on. I like the wide field of view because it shows the galaxy in context alongside its celestial neighbours. For example, the smudge to the right of the image is the pair of interacting galaxies known as UGC 1840.
