Title

Quite humid and the only cloud was low in the east! Overall, the tail was less obvious to the naked eye and the head was only obvious after it rose above the cloud, by which time the twilight was well under way. FWIW, by comparison with nu Hya (very similar) and Regulus (~ much fainter) and correcting for average extinction, gives 2024 Oct 02.781UT mag +1.5 which, to be honest, is much brighter than I expected from the visual impression.
