Such a dynamic display, rapidly changing in texture and intensity. Green seen as green in many places, just as brighter than the background sky in others, but most of the red was clearly visible as red to the eye. More intense bands extended through the red and into the green. Typical curtain-like appearance of the green at the bottom with undulating lower rim like the bottom of a heavy curtain.
